Fireside Yarn Box Blue-faced Leicester 4ply High Twist

Yuletide has come in warm colours this year and The Fireside kit is a delicious fade from dark Charcoal to White while moving through the rich winter colours of red, orange, and yellow of the Fireside. Think of sitting by the hearth and wrapped up with a cocoa next to a wood-burning stove.

The best of British wools, Blue-faced Leicester is one of the softest British yarns, gentle on the skin, great for supporting the British wool industry, and not as expensive as merino.

4ply, also known as sock or fingering weight, this is a fine but practical yarn for socks, hats, jumpers, or shawls.

100gm has 365m, it is super wash wool, meaning it can be machine washed but hand washing is recommended. Care has been taken to rinse the yarn thoroughly but like with all hand dyed yarn, there may be some colour bleeding.

Yarn is dyed in a smoke-free, cat-friendly environment. Yarn must be caked or balled before use. Alternate skeins on large projects to avoid the colour difference when the next skein is used. Check gauge or make a swatch before beginning a project.
