Blue-faced Leicester DK: Autumn

Blue-faced Leicester is the British answer to merino, it is a soft wool of fine quality that can be worn next to the skin.

Known as Double Knit or DK, this is a slightly thicker yarn suitable for any medium garment or accessory, like hats, mittens, and snuggly shawls.

100gm has 225m, it is super wash wool, meaning it can be put in the washing machine but hand washing is recommended. Care has been taken to rinse the yarn thoroughly but like with all hand dyed yarn, there may be some colour bleeding.

This listing is for five mini skeins of 45metres, total being 225metres.

Yarn is dyed in a smoke-free, cat-friendly environment. Yarn must be caked or balled before use. Alternate skeins on large projects to avoid the colour difference when the next skein is used. Check gauge or make a swatch before beginning a project.
